Thanks so much to you all for your help....and I understand protocol as I'm in a union at work, although frustrating it is what it is, and the funny part about all of this is that now that my mom knows that her bank accounts are safe and nothing untoward was happening with her pension money, all she really wanted to do is get back on to a site she knows her way around and play bingo...

Management has responded... once again, there is not only a time frame difference, but also several included in decisions being made. Thanks for your patience.

This means we have gotten a detailed explanation for WBN concerning their decision of your complaints. I have an answer ready for them addressing a few items that I will be sending shortly. As I said.. the communications are open and we are simply dong what has to be done in a way it has to be done in to get this thing tied up.

HI Sissy,
I want to thank you very much for looking into all of this little mess for us.
I have to admit to total confusion with this process now...first my 70 year old mom gets "disabled" for "suspicious gaming activity"...between the end of March and April she deposited almost $600.00 and totally enjoying buying the games one at a time and watching the chat go buy. I even went and bought her her very own used laptop to sit on her side table by the tv so she would stop feeling bad for always wanting to be in front of my computer.
Then my neighbor down the hall just told me that her account was closed on her for "suspicious gaming activity". The lady is 55 years old and enjoyed going on and playing from time to time when she had been paid and could afford to deposit more onto the bingo site. She never won enough to break the World Bingo Network.
I asked my daughter, who lives in another Province, to cash out at the same time as I did Saturday morning just to see if everything would be ok.
Well hers went through without a hitch but mine did not, so I emailed this afternoon just to check if it had been missed in the busy weekend rush and I was emailed back very quickly telling me that my account was in a routine audit and they would get back to me. My goodness, what are we doing wrong here?
I know you are looking into this Sissy and I appreciate it very much, especially for my mom because she would still like to be able to go back on and enjoy the bingo site she knows how to use but, I am in a venting mode here and I apologize. I am just getting tired of feeling like we are doing something wrong here, when the truth is, I think it's them!
What the heck do you think they want, for none of us to cashout? To just keep depositing and never get anything back, is that why so many of the same people are still on the site, because they don't win.
You know, I'm afraid to win anything big now, let alone deposit anymore money because, it is in their hands, if they decide to cut me off I'll get nothing because when they close you down you are Cut OFF...I know from trying to get some answers over my moms account.

Done my vent, thanks for you time...and what you are doing in trying to get us some answers is tremendously appreciated...clearing up some of this confusion will be so nice.

Thanks so much, Cyndy

We have confirmation that Cyndy has been paid. Thanks to WBN for honoring this withdrawal.

There are several sites in our approved sites thread you may want to consider as trying out for a
possible new place to play. Several have no playthrough and NONE of them allow gifting.

Bpu stands against gifting, as by most reasons it promotes houseplayers. Good luck to you and your mother in your search for a new bingo home.

Glad to hear you got your money Cyndy for your Mom. My wife and I are still waiting--- as are several others. Some of whom have written to WBN a couple of weeks ago and received no reply but were locked out and their cashouts not processed. BPU has been notified.

Hope you have a great day!!!

Rob and Shonna-Lee

IMPORTANT!!! Aside from the players who have already come to BPU for help with their issues concerning WBN, we will no longer be taking any new complaints. Should anyone have a complaint, they should take them directly to WBN to handle.

We have had success in nearly all of the withdrawals that were requested, and the ones that haven't been processed are in the works. WBN has worked wiith us willingly and effectively in making sure these players do have their money.

We also have notice that they will be discontinuing theiir gifting program as of Sunday the 8th and we offer Kudos for that!! It is no secret how staff of BPU feels about gifting and this is a major plus for WBN, in our opinions.

WBN has chosen to pay those who requested withdrawals but ultimately decided to close the accounts as per their site rules allows them to do. Our concern was to mediate and get these players their money. The first four have been paid, the last two are being processed. We will keep our membership updated on the final stages.

rather a comment or observation...

It seems to me that since most players/depositors look for a 'home' where they are comfortable playing, winning/losing, and making friends within an online bingo environment, this attitude, to me personally, would be a real deterrent for me to want to deposit money at a site where, should you be lucky enough to win, you lose your 'home' as soon as you request a cashout because the site closes your account when they pay you off.

Why in the world would someone deliberately hope NOT to win in order to keep their account in 'good standing' with a site? Obviously, the sites have their rules in place that allow them to close your account, with absolutely no notice, for any reason they draw out of the air, and I'm not saying they shouldn't be allowed to do that since we all agree to that rule as soon as we register, but to close an account because somebody had the nerve to request a payout seems pretty petty to me.

At least, with this heads up about this here at BPU, we all get the message loud and clear in time to find another 'home'.
