A lonely man decided he needed a pet. He went to the pet store
and told the clerk he wanted something different. After a short
discussion he decided on a centipede.

He took his new pet home in a little white box. To get to know
his pet better he thought he would take him to the bar for a drink.

He asked the centipede in the box if he would like to go for a beer
There was no answer, he waited for a few minutes and asked again,
still no answer.

He waited a few more minutes then put his face by the box and
hollered "How about going for a beer?"

A little voice came out of the box, "I heard you the first time I'm
putting on my shoes".
