Ok! It’s been a year since the US Government imposed the ban! From where I sit it has had little effect! People are still finding ways to gamble online! Online bingo is thriving, in spite of the ban. Many who vowed not to play until the issue is resolved, grew bored and tired of waiting. US Players want to play online Bingo period!

Although, we stood on the sidelines, BPU helped many players collect their wins from sites that hesitated to pay them. A whole year has past and it seems the order of the day is “Business as Usual”! In view of this revelation, BPU has decided to partner with a few good sites, that we feel are honest and will work with us, if a player has an issue with the site.

The Bingo Industry has developed a very bad reputation of cheating players! Many players don’t trust any site. This is not to say all sites today are fixed, as they were in the past! Even back than, if you were an honest site, trying to make a living, it was hard to compete with the false promises of sites like Zany Bingo, Bingo Vega. Back than I stated, regulations should not be required if the bingo Industry could police its own actions. I called on the honest sites to speak up against the sites that are giving online bingo a bad name. Looking back, I can now see that the honest sites were overwhelmed by the dishonest ones.

This whole scenario reminds me of the old west! A time when there were no rules or laws in place to protect the honest folks. When the town folks had enough of the lawlessness, they employed the services of a sheriff that would protect their rights. It’s was the same a few years ago. Bingo Sites were all gods, they had all the power and could manipulate their software and rules to max out their profits. Than BPU was called upon to hold these sites at their word! We have stood by the players and defended a few honest sites and stand by our record!

There was a transition, when many players started to note the same winner thing was occurring over and over. The phrase House Player was coined. For a time, this topic was taboo in bingo chat and even bingo forums. But there were so many players seeing the same thing, that the industry could no longer hide the fact they use House Players. When I started playing online Bingo, it was not long before I knew something was wrong here. I wondered if there were others that seen what I did and we could come together and compare notes.

Thus the Bingo Forums were formed! Players finally had a place to air their experiences with online sites. Needless to say some Bingo Forums would not allow negative remarks against sites they represent. The players persisted and united and today you can find information about just about all the bingo sites in Bingo Forums. Forums have proven to be a great resource for the players. At forums they can read about the experiences of other players and make sound decisions as to what sites you want to play on.

Our role in all this, has always been to inform players of the sites that they should avoid! There has been periods, where we have approved sites for their performance, than pulled out of the market because of the ban. In all this time we have actively monitored what is going on in the Industry. Change seems to be in the air and sites like Vic’s Bingo & BingoHall are willing to listen to what their players want. Sites like his are a wave of the future!

Sites like Bingoisus, 123 bingo, Bingofunhouse, bingovega are still old school and think the old ways of pulling the wool over the eyes of their depositors is the way to go. To these sites I say Bingo is big business and if you can’t treat your players with respect and pay them when thy win, you have no right to accept their deposits.

BPU will be flying site banners again, and will stand behind any of them!

I, for one, am very glad that you did stick around and that your banners are flying once again.

Poo Poo on the old school sites and glad to see you are doing great damage to them and their profits. Keep up the great work.

I agree. What you are doing here not only fighting to keep online bingo players protected but to also make sure that they government knows we are out here and that out voice is heard means a great deal to so many of us. Thanks for everything.
