Hi everyone. This is my first post, but I'm glad to have discovered this site, and just reading some of the resoltuions BPU has achieved for its memebers makes me smile. I'm trying to avoid any sort of situation where I actually need BPU's intervention. But with all the horror stories I've been reading, and, omg, BOTS???, that is just incredibly unfair. I currently play at 123Bingo, winabingo, and the saturn bingo network. I was wondering, if in your expereiences, I am playing at fair sites. I know I'm considering starlight bingo because of the no playthrough requirements. Are there any bingo halls with no playthrough requirements that use parlay software? Thanks for your help everyone, and good luck!!!!!

Hi uncleremus, Welcome to BPU! Sorry I had to move you post here, but it will be better addressed here. You asked:

I just found out Bingomania has done some changes to their site and have also upgraded to the new Parlay 4.4 version. As far as the sites you have been playing at, I can say 123Bingo.com is corrupt and the players have voted to blacklist them. Any site in the BingoEntertainment Network are also player friendly.

As far as the other sites you mentioned, I would suggest you use the Search feature at the top of our site.

Thanks so much for the welcom and the reply. sorry I posted in the wrong place. I'll check out bingomania. But I think I'm leaning toward starlight bingo right now b/c of the no playthrough requirements plus they still give a 100% first time deposit bonus despite the no playthrough, AND they were listed as a trusted site by BPU. Thanks again for the help!

Hi everyone,

Am new here.I've got questions and not sure where to turn.I started playing online bingo a few months ago...on and off.I joined the first site that attracted me.....123 bingo!! Though i have had no problems on this site except not winning lol ,i am deeply disturbed by what i'm hearing and reading.I've never won enough to withdraw,i get along well with people and i have made some friends along the way.I have noticed people leaving after complaining in chatroom or here but they return under different names and are not good at keeping info to themselves.I guess i'm odd because i figure that if i win money and they won't give it to me than why would i go back???Someone threw out this address as they were leaving (told to leave and stop talking in chat to others about unhappy thoughts) and i wrote it down. I am intrigued and curious to know what to do.What scares me is they have my info on file...credit card number and so on.I 've tried deleting everything and find i am unable to.I'm looking for a good site but after reading threads here i'm not sure where to turn.Any help would be appreciated. Thank you O:)

Hi AWILDONE! Welcome to BPU =D> =D> =D> and I’m happy you found us. Let me first address your concerns:

As long as you didn’t give them that 3 digit on the back of your CC next to your signature, you should be safe. I have seen 123Bingo ask for a front and back images of credit cards for a withdrawal. Players that did this and did not block out that 3 digit code are at great risk. The best advice I can give you is contact the CC company of the situation and ask their advice! You can find their number on the back of the card you used.

You also stated:

If you want to continue playing online bingo I suggest you become a savvy player by reading these 2 forums.A LQQK INSIDE BINGO: http://www.bingoplayersunion.com/viewforum.php?f=145
and Bingo101: http://www.bingoplayersunion.com/viewforum.php?f=13
Once you do this no site will fool you again! You will know exactly what to LQQK out for!

We have been advocating for players and working with Bingo Sites since Oct. 2005! If you are LQQKing for a fair site to play at let me suggest you LQQK at our Approved Sites List: http://www.bingoplayersunion.com/viewforum.php?f=142 or click on any of our banners. If nothing strikes your fancy do a search on your own. But if you do that, let me suggest you google the site before you deposit.

Welcome Awildone!
If you have read any of the posts here at BPU concerning 123bingo, you may have reason to use caution or at least be concerned about where you play.
Why people return to sites? The addiction of the game, the friends there, playing out a balance instead of just walking away, hoping to win and get a withdraw is still in their heads possibly.
123bingo has been on a cautionary list for a long while here until it has been moved up to a blacklist, boycott status. They are proving on their own what kind of integrity and fair play is being dealt out to players.
As far as sites go, check the sites here for approved, or some reliable advocate group that actually checks sites and does not just banner them for the funding. Ask other players..word of mouth from players themselves can be pretty reliable.
123bingo is boycotted by this site...for abusiveness and cheating of players! period!
If anyone decides to play there, they are taking more of a chance than usual with online bingo sites.
Good luck to you, and so glad to have you here.

I want to thank you both for the prompt reply.I've read all the forums before i decided to write.I've decided to try Bingo Billy as they offer a free trial. And yes i'm sorry to say i had to give 123 bingo my 3 digit number to be allowed to play. They even called to confirm it.I told them i was very uncomfortable with giving that information over the phone....so he kindly recited everything that i had entered on site..Still scares me...Again thank you and i'll be following up with you before i make such a decision..... O:)

I went ahead and contacted bingomania, as looking at their site they seemed to offer what I am looking for: i.e. many rooms to choose from and the parlay software for slots. I was nervious about their cashout rules though, but according to an email from them:

Hello, thanks for contacting us. The only requirements we have is when you deposit, you must wager 95% of your deposit before your bonus qualifies. You are able to cashout at any time but you will forfeit your bonus if you do so. Also, please note that every Wednesday and Saturday we offer 150% deposit bonuses.

What that means to me is: If I'm playing with the cash portion of my deposit and win big enough that i want to cash out, yeah, i lose the bbs, but I get to cashout hassle free. Alternatively, If I deposit 25 dollars, my usual amount, I have to risk nearly all of it, but don't necesarily have to lose it, in order to make my bonus qualify for play/cashout. Anyway, that seems a lot better than these 3x through on bngo, 12x through on slots, halls that keep adding chat bbs to your account so you can never cashout. They also offer a first deposit bonus slightly bigger than starlight bingo, and have virtually a no restrictions cashout policy, so I'm still torn between the two. Any opnions of players out there, which one is better for whatever the reason, whichever one you enjoy more?

I know this post could have landed in several forums, but I'm assuming since its concerning my original post in "please help me" that this is where it belongs. Don't worry, I'll catch on soon enough, lol.

Welcome to awildone, its nice to have another newbie alongside me for the ride, lol.

Lastly, though I have been playing there, I will from this point forward boycott 123bingo and bingoknights.

Thanks for the great work BPU. It's nice to know someone out there is on the players' side!!!

Welcome Uncle and Wild!!! Nice to meet you both and so glad you found us!! Some sites like to keep us hidden but our membership is growing and with it many more mouths and fingers to spread the word of good and bad sites!!

I am sure this will come off as partial, but I just happen to know a little more about BingoBilly because I work there. Their deposit bonuses are modest and they do not give HUGE BB's in their chat games. They are a 1X PLAYTHRU site and have Parlay software. Check them out as well as the other sites on our approved list!!

Wow, Was reading this and realized I had given out the 3 numbers on the back when I played at bingoworkz.
It has been months since i played there and have not found anything on my statements do you think I will be ok. Holy Cow never thought of that when I gave it to them.
If it has been awhile do you think they will try anything? I can't really cancel this card, if I call the card company and ask them to change my numbers would they?
Now i am worried. dumb dumb dumb on my part.

Welcome uncleremus!

Why do these sites need that 3 digit number? It certainly doesnt verify the card is yours or that it is actually "usable". That is personal information that should be given to only the most trusted retailers or commercial industries..and certainly NOT an online bingo site.
That just allows access to future withdrawals with your given permission as a signature using a digital request. NO verification is called for before your cash can be removed..use caution PLEASE!

Welcome to BPU all

Uncle: Bingomania was the 1st bingosite I ever deposited and played at. I had been a member for about 1 month and won the pjp and I ask for a withdrawal. I had no problems at all. It was tranfered into my moneybookers account within 3 days. Stupid me, because bingomania does not run 24/7 rooms, well they do but during 1am and 9am US EST there is hardly anyone playing and their CA jackpots don't run during these times either, I went to 123 and started playing there cause they play 24/7, when I won $10,000 and ask to withdraw $1,250 was when I started having trouble and it continued from there.

I now play back at bingomania because I can trust them. The chat games change every hour, the roomies are excellent and the ch's are cooool

Friday and Saturday night is their pyjama party where the rooms and chat run all night, Friday 25c room (Looney Bin) and Saturday 5c room (Nuthouse).

I hope this helps you make a decision hun, best of luck

Awildone & Lecees - hun my advice to both of you is cancel your cc. I had to, cause once they get the 3 digit number, they can use it any where any time.

Cancelling my cc is very disrupting to me as my cc also is my bank account card so at the moment I have no access to my cc or account except online or going into bank, but it is worth it.

The last thing I want to see down the track is transactions on my cc that I know nothing about, but because they have the 3 digit number on the back, you have given this transaction permission to go through and you can't do anything about it.

CANCEL YOUR CARD FOR YOUR OWN GOOD HUN PLEASE
