What do you suppose makes the most profit: online bingo websites or actual bingo halls?

I'm sure that the online sites make more money because 1. they run 24 hrs a day and get people from around the world and 2. they run more games at any given time by utilizing several rooms in which to play bingo.

Great point but the bingo halls used to be all the rage didn't they? Oh well I guess I would have to agree that the online games probably do do more when it comes to bringing in both the money and the players.

I certainly know more people who play online than go to the bingo halls anymore so I gues you guys are right but I would still love to know the breakdown.

I think that would be almost impossible to give to you since Bingo Halls are a world of their own and online there are so many different sites it would take one heck of a mathematician to go through all the numbers and come up with a final figure.

Maybe this is beating a dead horse but the bingo hall numbers should be relatively easy to track down as they would have to file taxes and claim profits and such as they are run as a public business. Even non profits have to claim what they bring in, so the bingo halls more than likely have to do the same. This should be a matter of public record. Of course the online numbers would indeed be pretty tough to nail down given the countless number of sites that operate as well as the different countries that they stem from. I am sure there is some legal wrangling that makes many of them exempt from having to share and make a part of public record just how much money they generate on a yearly basis.

There is no doubt in my mind that a lot of these "out of country" sites never file true taxes about their profits. I'm sure that the "bogus" winners are placed under the "loss" column and therefore not true numbers will be extracted.

You make very good points there Princess. However, if someone ever did get a handle on them it would be great to see it in print.
