Just recently, Interactive Playnet has closed all the bingo sites that they owned. They let go of all the chat hosts and support staff. This was last Wednesday 11/11/09. WHICH, I MIGHT ADD, WAS A SCHEDULED PAY WEEK, WE WERE DUE TO BE PAID REGARDLESS OF THE FATE OF THE COMPANY. WHICH PER “ SAID” E-MAIL, WAS JUST DECIDED ON THE DAY WE WERE TO BE PAID!! They have stated that we will be paid but it has been over a week. The admin of these sites have ignored emails and private messages that have been about when are we going to get paid. When they do respond to these the answer is always the same “We are working very hard on getting you all paid." This is not a good business practice. The players that still have balances in their accounts have not been paid as well. The cm's and support staff want their pay but the owners/ admin’s of Interactive Playnet are ignoring any attempts of communications from the chat hosts and the support staff.
Recently a few players have told a cm that they have not been paid the money that was in their accounts, therefore this makes a person wonder. Does this company really care about the players that join their site and the staff that makes the site a success? Alternatively, are they another rip-off site that goes for what they can get and screw the people that make them what they are?
They also ignore player’s emails about problems that they are having with their accounts. They also said there was not to be multiple accounts in the same household. However, when they do not like a person they ban that person for two different people having accounts in the same household, but allow other players do have multiple accounts and not do a thing to those players.

Please see the emails Below, that were sent from Simon Lucas, one of the owners of Interactive!

Dear Team,
For those who weren’t around or available this afternoon I wanted to email you all and let you all know what is happening. I am writing to let everyone know officially that today is our last day of bingo operations and we have closed the bingo lounges down as well as any depositing options (withdrawals are still available for players of course). As you may be aware we cut the depositing option and chat games over the last two days in preparation for what we anticipated may go through today.
The Interactive Playnet Network including all our sites and software has recently been purchased by 3rd party who wishes to utilize the software and power of our sites. In the past we have always resisted any efforts made by others to buy the company however in this case it was the shareholders decision to accept.
The intention of the new owners is at this time is not to pursue the bingo games but focus on the slots and side games arm but to open the bingo in an even better bingo platform at a later date. With this occurrence it means that I will unfortunately have to make all Chat and Support services redundant with immediate effect.
It is with great sadness personally that I have to inform you of this as today as I feel immensely proud of our team and have always prided us on being the best online, unfortunately the decision is not a reflection on you it is merely a new company decision of which we can’t control. It has been our utmost pleasure to have you working for us and we hope that you have enjoyed the site and software as we have grown over the years and also working for us.
The new company will likely be in place over the coming weeks and of course this entails a transition of which can take some time. We have always prided our software, sites and whole company on being honest, fair and fun and I think with your help and efforts made our network a truly enjoyable experience for the players and I thank you sincerely for helping us become the well love bingo home so many enjoyed.
All staff will be paid in full as soon as possible as well as all players who have balances and cash outs to be performed or chased up. We have always been a company that has made sure all payments are done in the quickest fashion and we will certainly do our best in this case however with the transition it may take a bit longer than usual.
For anyone who requires a reference for any future jobs or roles I would be more than happy to facilitate this for all of you. I will be online and contactable of email of course if anyone has any queries.
Again may I sincerely apologize for this bad news but I would like to take this opportunity to tell you all how special you have made our bingo sites and that you should all be proud of your endeavors.

I hope you all keep well and best of luck for the future.

Simon

HOPEFULLY, THE “ NEW BUSINESS PARTNERS” ARE NOT PLAGUED WITH THE SAME TREATMENT AS THE FORMER EMPLOYEES OF THE INTERACTIVE HAVE BEEN PLAGUED WITH. MANY OF THE CM’S HAVE STUCK WITH THE COMPANY, THROUGH MANAGERIAL CHANGES, ETC. AND MANY HAVE BEEN WITH THE SITE SINCE START UP AND THIS IS THE THANKS WE WERE ALL PAID.
BELOW SEE THE FINAL AND LAST CORRESPONDENCE ANY OF US HAS HAD WITH SIMON , AS HE BLATANTLY IGNORES ALL OF OUR E-MAILS IN REGARDS TO PAY, THAT WE ARE OWED. NOW, DOES THIS SOUND LIKE GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICE TO YOU? NOW THROUGH RESEARCH OF THE INDUSTRY WE HAVE FOUND VARIOUS ARTICLES THAT SIMON HAS POSTED ON VARIOUS WEB-SITES STATING OTHER REASONS FOR SITE CLOSURE!

FINALE E-MAIL BELOW, ALL OTHER ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT SIMON VIA EMAIL OR SKYPE HAVE BEEN UNSUCCESSFUL, BUT SUCCESSFULLY IGNORED ON HIS BEHALF.

Dear all

I apologise for my lack of contact the last few days- i have been extremely busy trying to sort lots of very big issues out- your skypes and msns and emails are not being ignored.

Several of you have rightly asked about pay and when this be resolved. We are in the process now of trying to sort these issues out and i can only apologise for the delay you are having. Please note i am working as hard as i can to make sure all such issues are cleaned up as soon as possible.

I will try and give everyone an update asap and hopefully sort out the outstanding payments.

Again apologies for the delays.

As a former cm for this place, I totally agree with what was posted. Its been 2 weeks since the sites closed, and still no pay. Many of us have lost our lights and many other things that are necessary for daily living. This is not a good business practice and when you work you should get paid regardless of the company's problems.

Hello
Well i cannot say i am sad or surprised they closed
i feel for some of the cms
but not for the support center at all
or the heads of chat masters and support ( xxxx) (xxxx) why a name change we never know
for i had a few problems and help was not there for me
really it was a family thing in support daughter in law step father daughter and mother lol but i did play there so i was a fool
even after i figured out a few things i still did call me dumb its okay

his account was funded by his cc mine was funded by ewallet
he did get lucky and won a few dollars so he cashed out to his own bank
after a 101 emails and 6 weeks later he got his 300 cashout
then he had another one that was pretty fast
but after that guess what
they closed his account saying no muntiple accounts in a house hold
and that i was playing it so it broke rules
says abuse of bbs system
well let me tell you many did same as i
but i know it was because we were small players

hmm
i contacted help they said there is no problem with your account
sio i tried and tried
then they said tech problem

Sorry things have gone the way they have for some... maybe it will work out with time. I am JUST as sorry that things were not brought forward BEFORE at a time when we possibly could have helped.

I believed Simon to be an honest straightforward fellow. SMACK! me. It seems to m if the company has sold, the ought to have a pretty penny profit with which to pay those they rightfully owe. I played there long enough to give an honest review of the site. At my own cost, I found that I didn't like the software for many reasons. I didn't like the fact I could not access my game logs etc.

I had "Tango" to close my account and truthfully told her it was because my "luck" didn't seem to be with their sites. You were dealt cards there that could NOT be changed. Seems that too many got the winning decks on a daily basis and I couldn't allow myself to be a max player in order to win.

Regardless, it is next to impossible to force contact by anyone in the industry concerning what they owe to players. I know I will be a little more of a tough customer when it comes to voting yes to approval of ANY new sites here at BPU. I do not like having my trust shoved up my.... down my throat.

You all need to know that I have received emails from other Interactive Playnet Employee’s that do not agree to what has been posted and are in fact upset and offended.

I’m sure we shall hear from them soon! This whole issue is very unfortunate for many. This Network worked very hard to build up a great reputation and care should be taken, to get all the facts before any conclusions are made.

I have worked with Simon for some time. I found him to be fair and honest and have the utmost respect for him. He has always demonstrated to me is great respect for players and his Staff.

I’m aware there are some problems caused by the sites temp closing, but you need to remember Simon is only one person and can’t possibly handle all the issues that the closing created instantly. I’m sure he has other people he needs to rely on to get things done.

I recently sent Simon an email and did get a reply yesterday. He did say how busy he has been and apologized for the delay getting back to me. In closing he did say:
Quote:
Please also in the mean time if any player comes to the BPU about our network and sites refer anything to me and i will do my utmost to assist.

I will be sending him an email and referring him to topic. All I ask is lets all act as professionals and see if we can get these issues resolved together.

I'm sorry that I have to post this. This is a terrible situation, and to attack people is just uncalled for, especially when it's untrue. Can people just post anything? with no repercussions? I am one of the CM's from that site, and I did not give my permission to have my name or first part of email address to be posted for all to see.

This is to "Never a true Answer". Frankly, I think you're having hallucinations. The accusations that you've made in your post is unbelievable on top of being totally untrue. Practice what you preach my dear, don't call the kettle black, etc etc. Everything you have posted is a lie, and to slander people like that is just dumbfounding. The "sneaky" CM that you are referring to did not contact you first, you contacted all the CM's because you knew what their email would be. You tried spreading lies about the office personnel to them for some reason. I can only imagine how boring your life is to try make other's miserable.

I'm sorry this has happened, we're all in a hard way especially with holidays coming up. No my utilities have not been shut off yet, because I paid them last month. I don't know about others, but I feel for them. It's going to be a tough road. I also know that the office personnel that are supposedly trying to avoid us have been online in just the past few days, and they are in same boat as us. Please people, don't believe everything you read. And stop posting this hogwash, it's personal for most of us.

In answer to the post by Never a True Answer and some of you that have concerns of the post, everyone is entitled to their opinions and free to post. What we will not allow is name calling, false hoods or slander of any kind.

We all preceive things differently and we all form opinions. This is not about personalities or how cm's, c's or anyone else does their job but about people working for a wage and not receiving that wage period.

We are a forum where players, members, guests and sites can have a say, we do not delete posts as whatever is posted in the forum is open to the public. We do edit posts and give the reason for the edit just as was done to the post by sunshine where the names of all staff of Interactive Playnet were X'd out as it has always been our policy to protect those that wish to be protected. We do archive posts after a length of time to make room for more recent posts.

Thank-you for all co-operation

Hi Jennifoy you are very welcome, we felt it was only the fair thing to do as we know there are many different thoughts and feelings on this issue. We strive to protect those that want privacy and protection but like everyone we are human and once in awhile we slip up but try to make it right as soon as possible.

Have a Good Day :)

As some of you may or may not know we received 1/2 of our pay on 11-23-2009 and the other half has not been issued to us and there has been NO COMMUNICATION as to when we will receive the other half. The situation remains the same alot of unanswered messages left via Skype and Email.
