in order to ban or disable your account at their site.

If you use the same username when you register at public internet forums that you use at the bingo site, that bingo site just has to go to the public forum and do a search for that name. If it matches up with their own site database, you run the risk of being banned or disabled at the bingo site.

It will make no difference to the bingo site if you have posted anything, be it good about the site, bad about the site, discuss what got said in their chat room, complain about payouts or 'brag' about them, or never post anything at all. Registration at those public forums, and BPU is on the top of the bingo sites lists of sites to search at, is all they need to use as ammunition against you.

If you are a member here or at other bingo forum sites, go to those sites and change your username immediately if it's the same as what you use at the bingo sites. If there is no option at the forum sites to change that name, email their admin and ask that they change it for you right away.

In case you aren't aware of this trick also....use any search engine, such as Google, and type in your username. Voila....there you are, along with the list of the sites where you use that name. Simple, but scary stuff. I just did this with my username that I use here, since it's the ONLY site I use that name, and there was BPU at the top of the list with links to posts I've made.

So you mean to tell me that because I post here and regularly tune in here that there might be some online sites that will not allow me to play there because of that? What a crock of s***!

I was just going to ask the same question. Why would a forum not allow you to be at more than one forum whether it's for bingo or anything else that interests you. You mean to say that because I now belong here I don't have a hope in h..l to be able to join either another bingo forum or bingo playing site? That just doesn't make sense at all.

you can join as many bingo forums as you want....the issue I was talking about is that there are some bingo sites out there that will close/disable your account without notice JUST because you may post in one of those bingo forums (such as BPU) because they monitor them all and treat them the same way they treat their own chat rooms. You are normally not allowed to say anything detrimental about their site in their chat room....and if they locate your username that you use at their site at any bingo forum they may monitor, they don't care if you are bragging about what a great site they are, they will assume automatically that you are 'talking' about their site and that's reason enough for them to take over your account and disable or close it, and they will confiscate and keep any money you may have in it at the time. If you go to their Live Chat, if they have it, and ask about why you can't log in, you will probably be told that that decision was made by "Risk Management" and be so vague that you probably still wouldn't figure out why because Live Chat people are told to not discuss anything about it with you. I have found a couple of really stupid Live Chat people that actually TOLD me that it was because I was a member here, so I started posting about it here at BPU and started keeping track of the various sites that do this pretty frequently. And then I realized that by doing a Google Search on my bingo site username since I use the same one at all of them, it would be pretty easy for them to know who I am by posting here and comparing it with their username database. I changed my name here and so far only one of them have caught up with me and that was because I 'dumb as dirt' gave permission for BPU to give it to a site when I found I couldn't log in and they were trying to help me find out what happened. My account at that site was only 'corrected' and opened long enough for me to log in once...after I left the site, I could never get back in again. LOL They were able to verify who I was because I logged in that one time only...it was enough for them to freeze me out at that point.
