Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has any info regarding the maintenance of the cc processor at these sites, it has been out of action for almost 2 weeks now. I have emailed help@cashmill and CM Ella and got no satisfactory answer. We weren't even informed this maintenance was going to happen, just discovered it when I attempted to deposit. The answer I kept getting to my inquiry was, "just a few more days"!!. I have now been told it "could be another week"!! Seems strange to me that one of the main deposit methods there could be "down for maintenance for so long". Any info on this appreciated. ~x(

Hi Smokey... I don't have any info on it hun and as far as I know it would and should ONLY be the site that can answer these questions for you, (in my opinion). I do, however, agree that they should be as plain as they can with their replies. If they don't know for sure... say so!

I have been thru some experiences with cc processors and when their software is not communicating effectively with the site software, it does take more time to solve the issue than either the site or their patrons wish to deal with. Players can get a bit "testy" to put it mildly, when they want to deposit and play and something is stopping them.

Bottom line is that when sites cannot make it easy for their members to deposit, it costs them BIG TIME, so I am relatively sure that if any site has issues going on with the card processors, they are working double time to see that the issues are solved ASAP.

I also know that if sites have a certain number of chargebacks ( I don't know how many) that they can lose their processors and it takes a good amount of time to have another one put in place. Sometimes the processors just close up and go out of business.

Also, I see several sites have begun to offer bigger bonuses for their players who will use E-Wallet and some even reimburse the E-Wallet fees on the deposit for them. To players who use E-Wallet, remember they do charge you not only to put your money in but also to take it out! Maybe one of our members has more info than I could offer smokey. Thanks for your info and input.

Hi Smokey welcome and thank you for your input.

Credit card processors are out of my forte but i do know that sites work their butts off to try and keep their procrssors going as when players can't deposit at a site they move on to a site that is more than willing to take their deposits.

I do have a problem that the sites in question are not giving their players adequate answers to the problems they are encountering. Sissy is dead on, if there are a great many charge backs to the processor they will pull the pin on a site as they lose money by players doing charge backs.

It has been quite awhile since I was involved in support but do remember that charge backs can cost a site the use of that particular processor and sites have to find another way for players to deposit and that does take time.

I do hope that the sites in question will let their players know they are working on a new deposit method or at least give them a reasonable explanation as to what is actually happening.

Well here I am again, the CC processor is still down and I still have no answer as to when it will be back up and running. This is so frustrating, how hard can it be for them to give us an answer. We the players have not been able to deposit at any of these sites since March 17th and here it is April 6th with still no indication of when it will be working again. Keep getting the same answer from everyone, "a few days". These few days could turn into a year at this rate and by then your loyal players will have found somewhere else to deposit their money. Is it so hard to give us an answer for petes sake???? I think you owe us that much at least, and I don't mean "a few more days", give us something more definate. ~x( :!! :ymsigh: :-w

Hi Smokeycat,
All I can tell you is , in spite of how frustating this situation is wth the processor, be very thankul you are not WAITING to get a withrawal due to the processors isssues and you keep getting the"in a few days" responses.
I can not say how long I would wait for them to get the condition cleared up.Depends how much I trusted, enjoyed and appreciated all previous time at a site.I would be thinking tho, what if I WAS waiting for money from them, instead of waiting to give them money.
