Advertising

I just had a thought and wasn't sure if you were already doing it or not. Do you advertise this forum on the Bingo sites that work with you? Are you allowed to put links to the forum on them so people will know where to go to find out about the bad sites? Have you ever asked the certified sites if they would mind you putting a link on their site?

Personally I think that would be a good way to help the new bingo player from getting scammed and if they are certified sites they would like that as well because then they can be sure of keeping the people they have.

That would be a fabulous idea if there were sites that would allow bpu to do that, and would give you a better ability to weed out those that are not so much on the up and up. If they don't want to let you on there then maybe they have something that they would rather hide.

That was my feeling too stressmom. I figured if they allowed it then people not only would feel better about the site but it would also bring more people into this forum and see how bad some of the sites are.

This can’t be done because it would be unfair to the other Affiliates that run banners from the same sites we do. We did inquire about this an that’s what we were told by the sites. Yes! It would bring more people here! You could argue that we do more for the sites we represent than the majority of the other affiliates, but that makes no difference.

I don't understand what you mean by the other affiliates. Doesn't the term affiliate mean that they are making money for people they bring to the bingo site? Well, having BPU advertised on that bingo site should make it "easier" for the forums to bring in people to a properly run "certified" bingo site. Wouldn't you agree?

If they have your approval so to speak then that should in essence bring in more players and lend a certain credibility to the site that may not have existed before.

What a great idea. Too bad you couldn't get someone to sell the sites on the idea of having a "free" advertisement for themselves. The sites would actually get free advertising here as well as BPU getting themselves known out there more. It's a win win situation as far as I can see.

Well, I consider myself a great salesperson. I have won many awards in sales and if you think it feasible, I would definitely offer my services to talk to some of the legitimate sites and point out the benefits of allowing BPU to be on their sites and advertising for the site on BPU by talking about how co-operative they are and how they want their members to make sure they are being treated fairly.
