Here is a copy of an email I sent to BingoVega Management. This issue is far from being dead. I have been working behind the scenes trying to find a solution that would prove or disprove Vega and the other brands have been running an honest operation since the so-called new Management Team took over last Summer.
Interesting enough the new Management Team don’t really refute the fraudulent actions of Mike Yates. But they do think they should not be held responsible for past actions that were beyond their control. After you all read my email to them I’ll post their reply.Quote: From: "Richard Byrne" <Admin@bingoplayersunion.com> Subject: RE: BingoVega and Mike Yates Date: Tue, January 24, 2012 00:27 To: "Chris"
Hi Chris,
Its been awhile since we dealt with the issue of Mike Yates using prop accounts at Bingo Vega. There are some serious allegations about the honesty of BingoVega that have been supported by several past members of Mikes Staff. After reviewing the evidence myself, which included logging into many of the Prop accounts, I disagree that the allegations are, as you called them, disgruntle reactions of past Staff. I do believe they have merit and need to be addressed by Mike Yates himself.
I have given this situation much thought and know that this issue will not go away until it is properly addressed. The statement BVA Manager posted in the forum did little to address the issue. I’m sure you are aware that the situation with BingoVega could reflect on your other brands.
Your augment that none of this happened on your watch is noted. But the seriousness of the allegations, past or not can not be overlooked. Mike Yates is still tied to BingoVega and the other brands, even if he is just in a group of investors and not involved with operations. He needs to be addressed and held accountable for his past behavior. Who is to say his practices of cheating players will not be implemented sometime in the future. It does not take rocket science to conclude that if one brand, in a group is cheating, other brands my be doing the same thing.
I firmly believe that in time the truth finds its way out. To resolve this issue two things need to take place, at the very least! Mike Yates needs to send me a statement, that I can make public, where he specifically addresses all of Beth’s allegations. He really needs to man up and explain his actions. Failing to do that will only lead to more scrutiny of BingoVega and possibly your other brands.
In your emails, to me, you stated that you “represent everything good about this industry” and stated “with 100% certainty” that prop accounts have not been used under your leadership! You also stated that “new management is available to discuss with full disclosure of how today's business operates."
Does this full disclosure include an audit of your Player Accounts? If Vega is truly on the up and up, under this new management and transparent, allowing an audit should not be a problem and would go along way in dispelling any players notion that they are still being cheated. We have audited accounts at other Bingo Sites, in the past, And recently completed a Player Audit at NewBingoBilly!
NewBingoBilly and BPU have a transparent and open relationship. Unlike the majority of other Online Bingo Sites, NewBingoBilly can back up their claim of being House Players Free, because they allow BPU to audit any account at any time. They allow this because they have nothing to hide. I strongly recommend you do the same.
Please don’t misconstrue the lull in the BingoVega topic, in the forum, as meaning players have lost interest. I have allowed this lull, hoping we can get a grip on this enormous issue and work towards a solution. Please take some time to consider the course of action I think you should undertake.
Kind Regards,
