According to their webpage: http://www.bulletbusiness.com/bingo/index.shtml the 5th Annual Bingo Summit will be addressing these issues:

1. Where have all the players gone?: Find out the latest on the hottest debate affecting you right now...

2. Identify developments in the hottest European bingo landscapes including France, Italy, Spain, Scandinavia and more...

3. The need for innovation: Discover how to leverage your platform providers capabilities for increased differentiation in an increasingly crowded market place

4. All New... Operators clinic: SEO that works!, Data Analysis, Marketing with real returns - find out how here Understand your players: Get inside the minds of your top depositing players and find out what they look for in an online bingo site

They will also discuss how to capture brand new players across the hottest pockets of online bingo play in Europe and re-invigorate your player database and more..

Of notable interest this year is the addition of a Player and CM perspective panel. =D> =D> This panel will discuss:

1. Bullet Business bring you a table of real online bingo players for the very first time ever

2. Find out what real players make of your online bingo website, promotions and prizes

3. Discover what really brings players back time and time again from the horse’s mouths!

4. Understand what online bingo players search for when opening a new account with an online bingo website

This panel will be moderated by Catriona Campbell, Founder, Foviance.

This is the first year the Bingo Summit has included Bingo Sites CM’s or players. BPU has questioned the Bingo Summit, since it’s inception, as to why they never included the players, who are the real backbone of the industry. Without the players there would be no Industry.

BPU is interested to find out how the CM’s and player, on this panel were selected and the impact they have on the summit. More to follow.

Is someone from BPU going to the summit or will they be represented?

I am so glad to hear that the players will be represented. I just hope that they don't pick the people from the sites that are on the "winning" lists and they do a random selection.

Very good questions as to whether BPU will be represented or not. I think if they are smart they will definitely bring someone in from BPU

I agree- the moderators here are a critical voice for many online bingo players and I will feel better knowing that in many ways our voices will be heard

I went to the Bingo Summit this year, and PokerPrincess - The Player Panel was one of the most interesting sessions of the whole conference! :)

I very much enjoyed what according to me is one of the best industry conferences around, and it was soooo refreshing hearing from the players as well and not only from the people working in the industry.

For those interested, the sites reviewed by the player panel were:

Costa Bingo
Ladbrokes Bingo
Wink Bingo
Tea and bingo
Tombola
Bingo Hollywood
Paddy Power
Red Bus Bingo
Foxy
Tasty Bingo
Cesars Bingo

Can you give us some idea of what was discussed and what was agreed upon so we can have an idea of how the sessions went and what items were resolved and how they were resolved.

Since there were so many sessions, it would be helpful if you could take a look at the agenda and maybe point out a few of the sessions that you would like to know more about.
http://www.bulletbusiness.com/bingo/agenda.shtml

I think the biggest difference this year is that you really notice that the industry as a whole is getting more mature and its becoming more and more important to listen to what your players as well as what you figures are saying with regards to the trends in the industry. With increased choice of games and bingo platforms, as well as the chance to play other (casual) games online, players are getting more demanding with regards to what they expect from their bingo sites.

I've been to the Bingo Summit for, I think, 4 years in a row now, and every year it has been better and better. I think the organisers are doing a great job, but as you say, the player side has not been as well represented as it should be. Thus, it would be very interesting to hear more about HOW you would like the players to be represented at the event. I think communication is key in so many ways with regards to both players and operators getting along, you seem to have a lot of very good ideas and points of view on things, so please let me know what you think! :)
