It’s been about 5 months since the US Government covertly snuck in the Internet Gambling ban into the Port bill. This July the law will take effect. The Bingo Industry has already reacted to this ban and with the absence of money processors, such as Neteller, the Playing of Online Bingo is no longer an option for US Players.

BPU has recommended to its members and Guests that they cease playing Online Bingo, because the Industry is too unstable and we are seeing a record number of complaints from players that are not being paid their wins. Those of you that continue to play are doing so at your own risk and have no recourse if you are cheated. At this stage of the Game sites know the end is near for them and will suck every last buck they can from those of you that are still playing.

Online Gambling for US Players is about to change! There is just too much money out there for the US Government to ignore. We will again, have online Gambling, but it will be regulated!

In view of all the recent developments, BPU has had to reassess It’s Watch Dog Role! With the majority of Bingo Sites pulling out of the US Market, this has left a Void. It’s hard to protect Player Rights when most of the sites no longer deal with US Players. We did some soul searching and came to the following conclusions.

1. Online Bingo will return to US players, because of the Demand and the amount of money it generates can’t be ignored and someone is sure to tap into it sooner or later.

2. Along with the return will come strict regulations that will insure Players a Fair Game.

3. Sooner or later some present Industry entity will assume a leadership role and guide us to bring Online Gambling back that will present ideas as to how to make it respectable and regulated.

4. BPU has made commitments to players like Foo, that sites like Vic’s Bingo, will someday answer for their documented cheating of it’s players and that BPU will continue to hold them accountable for their past actions. Without aligning ourselves with a group we feel will make a difference and bring back Online Bingo, these commitments could be lost!

5. There is a clear cut leader that is working for all Industry Players and coming up with practical solutions.

I see no reason to cry over spilled milk! What the US Government did was a slap in the face of all US Citizens. Unjust as their action was, I chose to dwell on the fact that this action has dealt a major blow to Sites like Zany Bingo, that have cheated players out of vast amounts of money and shows a possible connection to laundering Money under the sanction of the Antigua and Barbuda Gaming Jurisdiction. So lets look at the good and try and move forward.

J Todd and APCW has come up with some unique concepts on just how US Online Gambling can return to US Players. They sure should demand respect from the entire Industry for the solutions they are putting forth. Their solutions are practical and applicable and will benefit those that have fought in defense of our country. The US Vet!

Kudos to APCW for presenting this solution! BPU is Proud to be able to play a small part in helping this take place. As I said earlier BPU will extend much of its resources in helping APCW achieve it’s goal.

We do encourage all our member to Join APCW.org website: http://www.apcw.org/ and make sure you View all their Web Cast. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gr6KLvAlKes

What you are saying makes perfect sense. Online gambling can't be held back for too long but I'm amazed that it is taking this long to make any headway in getting U.S. citizen's rights to "free choice" back.
For a nation which prides itself on "peoples' rights" I can't understand why they have not done a 180 and put the proper rules and regulations in place. For one thing they are losing a ton of tax money which would also help in the recovery of the economy as well.

You are so right about the money. But there are those people who want the government to be so hands off that it ends up hurting us in the end. There is a time and a place for government intervention anf if the govt was given just a little shot at regulation think of how much better the industry would be as a whole and how much more profitable it could be for everyone.

That's basically what I was trying to say. That if the government would go about it in the right way it would benefit everyone, including the government itself.
