Bingo Players Union is a group of dedicated volunteers aligned with the purpose of creating and maintaining a neutral environment for site owners and managers, players, members and guests to share experiences and information regarding all aspects of the online bingo industry. Our goal is to provide a forum platform to stimulate and promote cooperative effort, assist in resolution, promote unity, fairness, and achieve an acceptable quality of assurance in the non-regulated online gaming entertainment venue for everyone involved.
There is always a lot of movement regarding bingo sites...some shut down completely and their site/domain names are bought up by other sites because of that old name recognition. Some sites have management issues and are bought out by new management and most times, this is a cover scheme to keep the site up and running with the same crappy techniques the previous management used.
My complaint is 'home page banners'....I want sites that merge with other ones to announce that on their homepage.
If they merge and incorporate those sites into a sister site or networking situation, they should list ALL of the sites they own so 'duplicate account' issues don't BECOME an issue because players would know right away that they have to notify LiveHelp or email accounting or use a Trouble Ticket to disable old accounts you might still have at the newly acquired sites. If they haven't added any sites but have dropped sites from their 'network', they should tell us that as well so we can keep an eye out for where that dropped site actually went to because some other site might pick it up and add it to THEIR network, causing a problem for account holders at the site that picked it up so notification needs to be done THERE. If they haven't added any LIVE and ACTIVE sites to their network, but merely took over a domain name from a site that completely closed down, they should announce that as well.
In the world of online bingo, taking your money AND KEEPING AS MUCH OF IT AS POSSIBLE, is their goal and ninety times out of a hundred, multiple accounts is the best reason they have for denying your cashout request and closing/disabling your account is the best way for them to keep your winnings and never pay you. They will let you deposit at ALL of their merged/acquired and networked sites without question....but they will deny you your winnings at any one of them and disable them ALL before paying you as soon as you request that cashout because they DO know all along that you have multiple accounts across that network.

Hi BingoGirl. I can assure you that all bingo sites operate from offshore. They all have contacts in the US that send out things for them. It can include just about anything from promo post cards to gift cards and lap tops. Sending these items from an offshore country is impractical and expensive. Different countries do observe various holidays that are not observed in the US. A sites accounting dept. is usually located in the Sites Offshore Headquarters and a payout may indeed be delayed because of a holiday there.

Because of these unfounded suspicions that NBB has House Players, an audit of the account in question was done. The account showed numerous deposits over the last 3 months. NewBingoBilly and BPU have a transparent and open relationship. Unlike the majority of other Online Bingo Sites, New BingoBilly can back up their claim of being House Players Free, because they allow BPU to audit any account at any time. They allow this because they have nothing to hide.
BPU’s integrity never has and never will be bought. You never have, not will you see any Rogue Bingo Sites Banners on BPU; That is why we have so few US Banners! All Bingo Sites are free to post and change their rules. Its been that way ever since I have been involved with Online Bingo. Unfortunately, not everybody is going like all of any sites rules. We all know that you can't always please 100% of the players. There will always be a few that will disagree or contest the validity of any given rule.
To those players I say to email the site and voice your comments in a professional manner. Sites do listen to players and perhaps will accommodate their requests if enough players request the same thing. This will not happen over night! In the end the professional approach will accomplish more than site bashing. If you disapprove of things at any bingo site, you have the option to stop playing there and finding another site that may suit you better.

I was contacted on January 1,2012 about the use of Prop Accounts at Bingo Vega. I spent long hours pouring over all that was sent to me. I did realize that the information was dated and Vega’s Management would say it is part of the past and should not reflect Bingo Vega’s new image they achieved in early Summer when they settled all outstanding complaints here at BPU and CasinoMeisters.
First off these accusations of wrongdoing greatly outweigh anything that has been reported in the past and because of this can’t be overlooked by the Bingo Community. There has been a sever breach of trust between a Bingo Site Operator and his Players and someone has to be held accountable.
Since the data was dated I decided to see if any of the accounts were still active. Since all the Account ID’s and Passwords were readily available it was simple matter of just entering the login information. I spent hours in the fake accounts taking screen shots of the profile, reconcile and other records. I can truthfully state that the majority of the accounts were still active.
A few, such as: Talk2owl, QueenOfBingo, BingoBets, WishingForRed and others were disabled. I’ll show a few of the accounts that I verified are still active. For the sake of file size, I cropped the screen shots I took to include only the account information. If there is any questions about the validity of the shots the originals can be produced.
Once the Prop List hit Facebook Vega’s Server went down and I no longer could enter any accounts that I previously had access to. They were all disabled. Clearly! Someone was doing damage control.
I have spent some time talking to Beth about this and I am convinced her remorse for her part in all this is genuine. Is Mike still running the show at Vega? I think this and other question will be answered, it’s just a matter of time.

Just heard the news from chat and from emails- two more cm's are getting sacked from the seven sites= bingofun, zany, zodiac, cashmill, rv, a1 and playtime. CM Jenni was fired, and now CM Christine is being forced to quit. Could it be that they know more than they should about the game? Would kamarie aka stonelady from the old zany have anything to do with it? There are some heartless people that are in charge on that site. And kamarie and rumi, do NOT send me emails with free bonus if i come back, it will not work!!!! You are history and those sites will eventually shut down. The most are house players anyway, and the others like myself allowed to win once in awhile to try to prove a point. My point is you need to be SHUT down. You treated you good cm's like crap and you are cheating loyal honest players.
Anyone who is still playing there should highly think about this and find another site. These sites are cheaters!!!!!!

My name is Beth I was an employee at Bingo Vega for 10 years, ending in
Feb of 2011. During my time at Bingo Vega I took part in cheating honest
players and I am so very ashamed of that. I feel like I owe it to the
players to come forward and let you all know what goes on at Vega.
I was instructed by Mike Yates himself to load money into false accounts
(aka Props Accounts) anywhere from $500 - $1000. These were a mixture of
old player accounts that were no longer used and new accounts that he had
me create. These accounts are listed in the screen shots. I logged into
these accounts and pre-bought cards as instructed. I programmed some 24
hours a day and sometimes as many as 75 props Accounts were playing
against the paying players in the $1000 - $5,000 games..
I participated in Play Off Tournaments for prizes such as Dell Computers,
and Shopping Sprees, in other screen shots you can see I won the Dell
Contest as well as $1000 first place Shopping Spree Prize under props
names. I inquired about testimonials for 2 props that split a $5,000 game and I
wasn't sure what to do with them, his reply to that email "Just leave it
to me! MY" I did end up writing a testimonial for another prop account
that won a huge prize and I was told to find a fake picture to go along
with it.
We also had free roll games that had extended time on them, for two reasons
1. So that I had time to keep logging in and buying cards since the games
were free you cant pre-buy them, so I would manually log in get cards,
close out, open another account and so on so you guys had slim chance of
getting anything for free
2. If I extended the time between calls and games we could put less games
per hour so less was being given away for free, there were complaints from
players about time between games so some players did catch on.
I also took part in Casino Vega activity. We had weekly and weekend casino
tournaments and I was told to play in these tournaments to keep players
funding. I would play under several props to bump players out of their
spots with hopes they will keep funding to get back into their spots. I
kept knocking them out of. You all kept depositing and I kept putting a
$1000 in my accounts to keep it going.
The screen shots also include one of a non depositing multiple account
player winning a progressive on Bring Home the Bacon Slots for over
$7,000. Instead of resetting it for you, Mike decides we shouldn't give
any details other than the players name. This was one he didn't have to
worry about cashing out. Our former tech also won a progressive on that
slot of over $10,000.. the odds of him to win the PJP were set in his
favor and he won it.
This site is not on the up and up like it once was, they cheat players out
of their hard earned money and its disgusting.
I have nothing personally to gain by doing this, my name and comments are
on those screen shots as well and they make me look just as bad as Mike. I
can tell you these screenshots are 100% real, they have not been changed
in any way. If I just wanted to make Mike look bad I would have removed
anything that I said or did wrong. I did as I was told, I desperately
needed my job and I don’t need the lawsuit that he threatened me with.
I Helped Mike cheat you, and for that I am so very sorry.
Beth

Been there..done that with instant bingo. Free 20..was a housie for them.Watchin too many same winners and i do beleive i got to a one to go one time. Played minimal cards until I realized that was a total waste and began playing 16 to 20 cards and no "luck" as they call it. I am going to stay out of online bingo until they become accountable for their claims of fairness and security. Find me one lowly site that does not have their standard winners on a daily basis with a chosen winner now and then to offset the skeptics, and It would indeed shock me!

Hi ladyswan Welcome to BPU! Unfortunally we do not regulate the Bingo Industry. But we do report to our members and readers, sites that we know are not legitimate and only want to rob players of their money.
I also share your interest in statistics, although it was not my Major. I totally agree with you that RNG in Bingo Software comes nowhere to the description of RNG that they taught us in school. Consider this! The Bingo Software offers its owners so many adjustments to the software parameters that RNG no longer acts in the usual way.
Unfortunately all Bingo Sites manipulate their software in one way or another to benefit the house. But the play you find at other bingo sites will not match the deceptive methods of 123BingOnLine. I’m sorry you got tied into one of the worst rogue Bingo Sites on the internet.
If you are determined to play online bingo please consider playing at NewBingoBilly. You can view their site by clicking the small link under my post. If they don’t meet your expectorations just contact me at admin@bingoplayersunion.com and I’ll direct you to another site that may be better for you.
Whereever you choose to play, I sure hope you come back to BPU and share your experience with Statistics.

They were calling me and leaving messages at various times in the last Month (10/2011) and they banned me from logging in there because I was calling them out on their "Deceitful activity" .... So they must be hurting....

Hi Fish
Welcome to BPU! I'm sorry! But we do not allow promotions to any Bingo Sites unless we approve of them first. I certainly hope your membership here is not only to promote any particular Bingo Site. If this site wishes to place an ad on BPU, you can contact us.

Welcome Jesse and thanks for the info. Yep QT closed and word is they SAID they would try to get everyone paid, but sadly I wouldn't hold my breath. Any American player funding to play at an offshore site should remember, there is no site who will guarantee you will get your withdrawal from a 3rd party processor.
Bingo Entertainment proved that to us.

I Posted this in another topic, but when a topic has many posting some good stuff gets buried; So I'm reposting it here so it's easy to find.
There are 2 kinds of House Players. There are bot House Players and Real People House players. A bot player is not a real player; It’s just an account set up to resemble a real player and funded by the people who control the account. The sole purpose of a bot Account is to test the software! If you are an unscrupulous owner you can use bot accounts to increase the Sites take and gives the house an unfair advantage over its players. Bot accounts usually have unlimited funding and can max cards. Their winnings are never withdrawn and remain with the house. When players suspect a Bot House player, the operator simply changes the name or creates a new one.
Goldiebingo and bingoem are bot accounts set up by the owners of BingoFun. They were set up by real people but they are not real people, hence the term BOT is used to describe this kind of House Player.
A real person House Player is entirely different. They are real players, like you and me. Believe it or not! They may not even realize they are House Players and playing for the house. The culprit in all this is Free or Bonus Money.
If you are playing on Free or Bonus Money and there is no way you can cash out your winning if you win. YOU ARE A HOUSE PLAYER Let me clarify this a tad more. If you are using Free or Bonus Money in games where the depositing players are also playing, You are wagering against your fellow players and playing for the House. This arrangement greatly reduces the amount of money the House has to pay to their depositing players. Some find the concept hard to understand, others just don‘t care as long as they get to play. Here is a scenario that will make the whole thing clear.
Ann & Joe are players at BingoFun. Ann is playing with free money , and because of House rules can’t withdraw anything she wins. Joe, on the other hand is a depositing player and eligible to cash out if he wins. Joe is playing in a room that has a nice JP and uses his hard earned cash to try and win it. Ann also is playing the same game as Joe. Bingo is called and Ann won the JP! Is this fair? All Ann can do is keep playing on the Money because she can’t cash out. Joe is out his last deposit and the house didn’t lose any Money because Ann is not eligible to withdraw.
Some may say that is an extreme scenario! Well maybe it is! But it makes my point! House Players win small pots also.

Thanks! I think they should destruct instead of reconstructing that site.

Bingo Players Union has invited Paul Marion, the Community Manager of Bingo HQ to provide tips and guidance for players on how to distinguish trusted vs. fishy online bingo sites.
Today, whether you play bingo in the US, Canada or the UK, it's important that you're spending money on sites that are trustworthy and that your deposit and time do not go to waste. Thanks to communities like Bingo Players Union, you get an independent group that helps you discover bingo sites that have been carefully reviewed for fairness.
Before letting your excitement for a new bingo site get in the way, here are some sound advice that can help you get more out of your experience playing bingo online:
1. Before signing up to the site, check with Bingo Players Union to see if the site is on any black lists.
2. If they're on the Black or Rogue list you should avoid these bingo sites because of past player complaints of unfair gaming practices and poor withdrawal policies.
3. Does the site you're about to join offer huge free bingo bonuses? If so, be sure to carefully review their withdrawal policy as most sites with huge free bonuses have what is known as Bonus Wager Rule requirements. This means, a player must wager x times their bonus received prior to becoming eligible for a payout. The more bonus you get, can work against you if you want to cash out a beautiful bingo prize that you just won. Be always wary of bingo websites with colossal free bonuses because they come with equally high bonus wager rules that make it all harder to cash out your winnings.
4. Does the bingo site have a presence on social communities such as Facebook and t puts customer service as a priority on their list will make it easy for their members to connect with them - Facebook has been a great tool and in a way puts bingo players in control as they have a strong voice to comment, and keep their bingo site accountable on a public forum for all to see. Does the site you're about to join have a transparent and vibrant community on Facebook?
5. Be wary of bingo review comparison sites as not all of them are providing fair reviews. Most bingo reviews that write about a bingo site are not reviews by players but marketers. These sites receive a commission when you sign up and make a deposit at a bingo site that they recommended. Be wary of only positive remarks about a site. No site is perfect - ask friends, consult with bingo review sites that offer true reviews.
